Everyone was excited to carve pumpkins. But the kids, especially Kathryn, didn’t want to get slime on their hands. I thought that was the fun part for kids. Kathryn did a lot of the work herself of carving.
Darryl got a huge pumpkin, the kids were so excited about it. We hollowed it, but never actually got around to carving a face. Maybe today.
Daniel was a chef. He likes to cook so much, it seemed a natural costume.
Amelia was Cinderella (which she also was last year). We went trick-or-treating at Darryl’s office on Friday and she kept telling everyone she wasn’t the real Cinderella, it was just a costume.
I convinced Kathryn to be a witch. But she only wanted to be one if she was a nice cute witch. I think we accomplished that!
